CiA Integration

Configuration for application linking between IntraMaps and CiA is applied by navigating to the Options>CiA URLs menu item in ConfigManager.

The settings required are:

    • CiA Application URL: https://{customercode}.t1cloud.com/T1Default/CiAnywhere/Web/{customercode}/
    • Username: SVC_SPATIAL (case sensitive, must be upper case)
    • Password: password for the SVC_SPATIAL agent (see prerequisites below) user created in CiA.

Notes: Prior to 24B an Entity URL was required, however the settings have been simplified to just require a root CiA URL, as shown above

Prerequisites

An SVC_SPATIAL service account needs to first be created in CiA by an Administrator with access to, and knowledge of, CiA Access Management and Web Service configuration and function.

Requirements:

  1. A new or existing role with access to the following Web Services:
    • SpatialEntity - EntitySelection

  1. A new or existing profile with a role assigned with access to the required web services

  1. A CiA Service Account with details as follows
    • User = SVC_SPATIAL
    • User Type = Agent
    • Assigned User Profiles>User Profile (CES) = the profile configured in step 2

Ensure Generate New Password is also run and the new password noted for use in configuring the account in Options>CiA URLs menu item in ConfigManager.

Confirming Web Service Access is Configured

You can view what roles are assigned to a web service using the Web Services screen in CiAnywhere and searching for the service name. For example SpatialEntity - EntitySelection

This is also where you can source the CiA Application URL to use in IntraMaps configuration.
